SO! Question answering time! I have two questions to answer, both from the same "Anonymous." Dear Anonymous, I did change the settings on ff.net so that anonymous people can review, but if there I see a lot of flames or spams, I'm going to turn it back off. Just forewarning you. Also, I feel silly calling you Anonymous; make up a pen name so that I can address you!! Please?
Anyway, here are the two questions:
1) Did you make Lily INTENTIONALLY forget that Micheal SPECIFICALLY said that he saw her first at Canary Wharf?
I'm not gonna lie to you about this. I've been terrible at keeping notes, so I forgot about it until a couple weeks ago when I was re-reading. Oops. Well, it's not a huge deal. I can explain my forgetting that away and yes, she obviously does have to meet him at Canary Wharf at some point. I'm not saying when. (read: I'm still not quite sure when.) Thanks for bringing that up, though! I've noticed my readers remember more than I do, which is a huge flaw I intend to correct... which now involves reading all 13 finished chapters all over again... oh well.
2) And is Lily who I think she is? Because, I swear, if she's our beloved time traveler (come on, you KNOW who I'm talking about!), I might flip! That revelation had me stunned for hours! I was like, but... but... but... WHAT?!?
Could be. I'm not telling yet. Not until the story is over will I field these kinds of questions with any serious answers. I will say this: who Lily is has taken me a while to figure out, in that I wasn't sure for a long time how to make it happen in canon, because of certain established events I have already written. However, I have figured it out in a way that doesn't sound completely lame to myself and will hopefully make sense to everyone else. That is all I am saying about that.
If anyone else has any questions, please feel free. I'm going to try to crank out a chapter now.
"Anonymous" here! I usually go by Alikai, in my reviews, for future reference.
ReplyDeleteI figured it was something along those lines for the first answer, but it made it all the more believable. She really was heartbroken, and you don't really pay attention to side comments that were made. Besides, I'd have been surprised if she had. After all, it was three years ago, her time. It was kind of a good thing you made that wonderful mistake.
As for the second answer... Oh... Oh no. Oh, no, you didn't! New theories are popping up in my head, and they are of the EVIL GENIUS type, which, my lady, YOU ARE!
Anyway, keep up with the awesome! I saw your newest blog post, and I, for one, am ecstatic that you have at least 40-50 more sections to write! I don't think you understand how happy this makes me! I love this story, if I haven't mentioned my obsession enough, and I'm not exactly eager for it to end!
And I'm happy to see that you did allow anonymous reviews! It was going to kill me waiting any longer to review on the actual story. You should be showered in love for all the creative genius you have! I doubt that the flames will be a problem. I know a lot of authors get them, but seriously, your story is WAY too good. Anyone who says otherwise has read too much other garbage to appreciate what you've written.
So yeah. You're lovely. Thanks for answering in puzzling ways so that I can ponder more.
And good luck with the writing! Now, I'm going to see if you posted the newest chapter... Au revoir!
